What to do if you’ve been in an accident

Accidents happen, and we’re here to help if they do. Once you’ve checked that everyone’s safe, give us a call right away so we can walk you through next steps. Here’s a simple checklist to follow including what details to have handy when you call.

Ensure that everyone is safe.


  • Check for injuries. Call 911 right away if needed.
  • If it’s a minor accident and safe to do so, move vehicles out of traffic.

If another vehicle was involved, exchange information with the other driver. Here’s the info we’ll need:


  • Contact details (name, phone & email)
  • Driver’s licence info
  • Licence plate number
  • Insurance company & policy number

Tip: you can find Evo’s insurance documents in the glove box.

Document the accident details.


  • Take a few photos of the scene and damage
  • If there are any witnesses, get their contact info
  • Write down any details while they're fresh in your mind

What to expect following your accident:


You’ll get an incident report form from us to complete, and we’ll keep you in the loop on next steps. And don’t sweat it, our All Access Fee means you’re fully insured, with a up to $250 damage fee for at fault accidents.
