Cowichan Valley

A truly unique experience, this 'Forest Dome’ puts the glam in glamping. Located in the heart of a forest with walkable trails and Cowichan Beach nearby, it’s the perfect place to retreat and unwind. Relax in the private sauna, then take a rinse in the outdoor shower to wrap up a perfect day.

For our Victoria friends, Cowichan Valley is under a 2-hour drive away or if you’re coming in from the mainland, enjoy a scenic ferry ride and try spotting a whale or two! Cowichan Valley is known for its incredible mountain biking trails (there are more than 170 of them!), so be sure to pop some bikes on the Evo roof rack and get ready for an adventure!

We couldn’t give you a list of our fave cabins and NOT include a classic storybook cabin! This log cabin is as cozy as it gets, with a wood burning fireplace, hammock chairs, and a barrel sauna, it’s the ultimate pad to curl up and chill. If you’re looking to hibernate, it comes with a fully equipped kitchen so you can stay in and make all your favourite meals.

If you are wanting to explore, there are lots of incredible trails for all levels! Like Joffre Lakes, our personal fave, and this cabin is the closet rental as it’s only a 12 minute drive away. You can also cruise 45-minutes to take a quick day trip to Whistler to hit the Peak 2 Peak Gondola or stroll around the village. Whether you decide to spend the day relaxing, exploring, or both, ending the night making smores by the fire is always the right choice.

Tofino

Salty air, surfer town vibes, old growth forests…these are just a few of all the wonderful things you’ll experience when staying at the Hemlock Hideaway Cottage. This private cabin in Tofino is surrounded by trees and just a 5-minute walk from West Chesterman Beach. Love to cook? The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to go. Or head into town to check out some of our favourite restaurants: The Shed, Jeju or Wolf in the Fog.

The drive may be long, but the destination is well worth the journey. We recommend stopping in Coombs on the way to check out the goats on a roof at Old Country Market. Cathedral Grove is also on route, you can stretch your legs while peering up at the huge old growth trees.
